With a focus on tech-arts, ICY Arts promises to engage youth through other interdisciplinary art-mediums to include, music, dance, and theatre.
Each artistic discipline incorporates literacy to improve reading comprehension through fun-filled activities.

Here are few more reasons families choose ICY Arts.
We advocate for increased access to quality after-school/summer programs that support students, communities, and schools in traditionally underserved communities because every student is a STAR who, regardless of current circumstance, deserves quality exposure, training, and performance opportunities.
Over the course of five years, ICY ARTS will combine literacy and both the performing and technological arts by codifying arts common core standards to students from diverse backgrounds in grades 2-5 (Elementary).
Phase 1 2021
We will officially launch ICY Arts literacy and film training.
Students will focus on achieving literacy-common core standards to create a film production "A Charlie Brown Christmas"
Phase 2 2023
We will begin expanding to 6th grade.
Students will have access to training in music production. Through our scope and sequence of common core standards we will address mathematic vocabulary, concepts, and processes to build musical compositions.
Phase 3 2029
We seek to expand to 12th grade and build a pipeline to HBCU's Apple Coding programs, Google, etc.,
Students experience live coaching to bring literature to life by completing writing, researching, and speaking exercises that culminate in student performances for a global community as shows are accessible virtually.
Students log their time reading at home with a minimum goal of twenty minutes a day or 80 minutes a week however they choose. Students create summaries of stories, then share their insights in student team-circles.
Combined with the time spent in our after-school program, students spend on average 180 (in session) plus 80 minutes per week at home: 360 minutes per week in addition to their traditional school day instruction.
Our instructors / counselors who give time to students are licensed through their state to provide training to students at no cost to their family.
ICY Arts provides a nurturing environment for students.
We started as a traditional arts program, focusing only on theatre. COVID-19 took us back to the drawing board to create programming that focuses on technological arts: film and music production.
